Schedule & Contingency Planning

Schedule contingency is defined as an amount of time included in the project or program schedule to mitigate (dampen/buffer) the effects of risks or uncertainties identified or associated with specific elements of the project schedule.

FST carefully monitors the schedule and established contingencies throughout the project in order to identify any potential problem areas and implement mitigation procedures as soon as possible.

Schedule and contingency planning are included in FST’ project road map as well as the risk and contingency documents.
