Quality Focused Consulting, Training and other Services!

3rd Party QA/QC

FST provides independent inspections for components at the source, on-site during receiving, throughout prefabrication and field installation and during any remediation processes. Our QA/QC services are an essential element that helps to ensure a build clean project with cGMP installation methods in place.

The FST Quality Assurance team is well versed in verifying field fabrication/installation procedures and certifying the safety, purity and integrity of installed systems. We ensure that internal specifications are met and that current compliance standards and regulations are upheld. Our oversight includes materials for both metallic and non-metallic materials for fittings, regulators, tubing, valves and other components.

FST maintains its technical expertise by placing a strong emphasis on continuing education and training. Our internal QA training programs meet and exceed multiple industries’ standards for qualification and certifications in examination of liquid, penetrant, magnetic particle and helium mass spectrometer leak testing.

Technical Staffing

When it comes to the execution of your specific project, you know that experience and expertise are paramount. FST can augment your staff with professionals who have industry-specific experience in project management, engineering, designing, scheduling, construction coordination and CAD operations, to name a few. Our technical staffing division provides personnel who are available on an as-needed basis to supplement your full-time staff. In certain circumstances, this may serve as an excellent recruiting tool—allowing you to observe a potential employee’s performance and abilities prior to hiring them.

FST works within high-tech industries throughout the world. As a result, we have an extensive network of highly qualified personnel. We also utilize job fairs and several national recruiting databases to attract top talent.

Our dedicated, in-house Technical Staffing department gives us the ability to explore myriad candidate profiles effectively-matching highly qualified individuals to the exact qualifications you specify and/or that the job requires. Potential candidates are carefully screened and their work history references are verified prior to being considered.

FST’s Technical Staffing group is managed by professionals who also have specific industry experience. We will participate in the interviewing process and final selection, ensuring the perfect match for your needs.

Equipment Services

Part of FST’s business philosophy is to cultivate a partnership with our customers aimed at supporting sustainable operations. We will work with you to control costs, minimize downtime and integrate continuous quality improvements in accordance with industry and regulatory guidelines.

As part of this commitment, our Equipment Services division provides certified Field Service Technicians to work on an outsource basis. We deploy Field Service Technicians worldwide to handle emergency service and repairs, as well as long-term manufacturing equipment services.

We can work with you to provide Field Service Technicians for:

Production maintenance– operational and preventative maintenance across OEM platforms

Process equipment and system evaluation– commercial and technical assessments on tool-to-value, as well as tool set refurbishments, upgrades and rebuilds

Value-added services– improving your equipment’s mean time between failures and suggesting improvements

This flexible staffing model eliminates your administrative overhead and lowers the in-house training costs typically associated with full-time employees.

Analytical Testing

FST maintains the equipment and staffing necessary to certify UHP gas and liquid delivery system installations for safety and purity. FST can also commission gas systems in various bulk process gases and UPW- DI water systems.

Our technicians are trained to understand the capabilities of the testing equipment and comprehend the scientific methodology required for reliable and valid systems evaluations. Technicians incorporate both theoretical and empirical procedures to determine system testing feasibility, effectiveness, and duration.

FSTRAC™ Off Site Testing

The FST Remote Analytical Certification (FSTRAC™) program provides a cost-effective, accurate alternative to standard online gas analysis. Our “grab sample” approach provides a snapshot, low-level ppb analysis of impurities in Ar, N2, O2, H2, He, CDA and other gases.

FSTRAC™ benefits include:

  • Sample integrity is maintained through a proprietary testing process
  • Fast turnaround for complete test results
  • Shipping complies with DOT 3A1800 regulations
  • Sample collection assistance is available, by request
  • Standard analysis is performed with a Trace Analytical RGA5. We can perform an analysis using a Gow-Mac GC/DID.

In addition, FST can assist with:

Establishing acceptance criteria and defining testing methodology– We ensure efficient and cost-effective testing by making sure the criteria meets the system and application being certified. We also provide clients with value assessments of certain analytical activities to ensure testing is necessary, valid or performed in the most expeditious manner.

Trouble-shooting marginal systems– Our technicians are trained to problem solve and troubleshoot failed systems accurately and to assist the installing contractor with the remediation process.

Documenting results– Analytical testing data is recorded and documented in hard copy, in accordance with site-specific and regulatory requirements.

Prompted by an ongoing need for quick turn-around times on the calibration and repair of analytical test equipment, FST established a technical laboratory in 1994. TECLab™ quickly expanded into a recognized and respected independent laboratory for product evaluations, technical studies and specialized testing.

Today, TECLab’s™ capabilities continue to expand, meeting the ever-changing needs of clients and industries. TECLab™ personnel are trained and certified by various test equipment manufacturers in accordance with their rigorous standards.

TECLab™ provides a controlled clean environment for conducting evaluations, studies and tests of products and methodologies. TECLab helps numerous customers conduct specific studies of components, evaluate new products and assess the integrity of a product to meet test criteria or gain specification acceptance.
