FST Technical Services was founded in 1984 to serve the needs of the growing, worldwide Semiconductor/Microelectronics and Life Sciences industries. We began as an independent interface between our clients and their subcontractors to establish build clean installation methods that satisfied internal specifications and conformed to regulatory requirements.

In December 2020, FST acquired Horizon Engineering Associates, LLC (HEA). HEA adds to FST Technical Services a strong expertise on third-party commissioning services to mission-critical facilities including Data Centers, Healthcare, R&D, Infrastructure and Education.

In March 2018, FST added AMA Consultants to reinforce our presence in the Life Science. AMA has deep expertise in the nuances of the Life Sciences industry. This acquisition was part of FST’s strategic goal of becoming a diversified provider of mission-critical, outsourced technical services to a wide range of customers.

On April 15, 2015, FST Technical Services, Inc. acquired test/measurement equipment company Auburn Metrology Lab, Inc. Auburn specializes in the calibration and repair of communication service monitors, watt meters and other electronic test equipment.
